This Week In POKT (March 23rd)
PROTOCOL
-
The private Testnet for Shannon was launched. The protocol team will use this for quick iterations and to establish the basics for Shannon before the launch of a public Testnet in April. Catch up on more protocol updates from the week’s Builder’s Call.
-
PUP-33: SPACE has been approved by the DAO. This approval will lead to updating 2 on-chain parameters in POKT Morse. The updates will increase the block size and raise the minimum number of proofs required for a node to claim.
-
13.9k POKT was burned and added to the protocol’s revenue.
GOVERNANCE
-
The DAO commenced voting on PEP-67 to boost POKT’s liquidity. If approved, $3m in POKT will be lent to market makers to achieve a 2% depth of $50K+ across all exchanges where POKT is listed.
-
Voting also commenced on PEP-68, which suggests that POKT DAO co-sponsor a Blockworks Research DePIN report.
GATEWAYS
- Liquify teamed up with Cartesi to host an exciting evening of engaging discussions at #ETHTaipei.
