Scope of work:
Maintain the Chinese community groups including the WeChat groups and TG group
Translate the updates/news/info and share them in Chinese groups
Post the update/news/info in the content platform, e.g. WeChat public platform, Twitter
Interact with the Chinese folks and answer their questions about Pocket Network
Compile or draft the localized contents to align with the culture and language habits
Type of Socket:
Initiative: $2K, paid and reviewed monthly, for the life of the experiment.

In addition, we gathered an offline meetup in Ji Nan (a major city in China). There were 4 local POKT investors/community members attended in this meetup and discussed the various topics about POKT Network, and shared the latest progress/milestone.
Am I seeing it right that this socket is reposting POKT tweets and translating them into Chinese for the mere cost of $2k per month, reaching only 300-400 people per tweet? This seems to represent a significant disproportion between cost and benefit. Could we please receive a rationale explaining the value that this socket is delivering, and why it has not yet been closed? @doctorrobinson and recently appointed DAO observer @Cryptocorn might help here. Hi Steve! It’s not just to translate and re-post POKT tweets, but also routine manage the Chinese community with thousands members (Telegram & WeChat groups), hold events, interact with Chinese folks, maintain the relationship with the key members/investors… You can refer to the Scope of Work part
Thanks for reviewing the quick grants though @SteveO - i routinely review them the first week of the month, and now that we’re moving to Karma GAP anyone in the ecosystem can leave a review of all grants. Karma is a bit of a WIP so there’s a bit of cleanup to do in prep for the retroPGF, but if you’re not seeing the impact you want, leaving a review is a helpful way to indicate that.
