# This Week In POKT (March 9th)

## PROTOCOL

- A total of 11.2K POKT was burned this week and added to the ever-growing protocol revenue.

## GOVERNANCE

- A new [proposal](https://t.co/JLNLpOKKL1) by PNF aimed to secure $3m in POKT to increase liquidity on CEXes.

- Blockworks Research [proposed](https://forum.pokt.network/t/pep-68-blockworks-research-depin-report-co-sponsorship/5095) POKT Network co-sponsoring a Blockworks Research report to position us as a DePIN thought leader.

- Community feedback led to the [refinement](https://forum.pokt.network/t/discussion-content-creds-governance-at-pokt-network/5033/20) of the proposed Governance upgrade to a two-house model, simplifying participation.

## GATEWAYS

- Celestia RPC endpoints went [live](https://x.com/BuildWithGrove/status/1766206048862359823?s=20) on our OG Gateway, Grove.

- Planq partnered with our 2nd Gateway Nodies, enhancing network performance to accommodate its expanding user base and activity.  

- Fresh off a busy week in Denver, our 3rd Gateway Liquify linked up with Bware Labs for a giveaway.  

## COMMUNITY

- Discussion was started on a new [RetroPGF](https://forum.pokt.network/t/retroactive-pokt-goods-funding-retro-pgf/5076) approach to better align rewards with proven impact.

## MUST WATCH

- Our Head of Protocol @Olshansky discussed relay mining and decentralizing gateways at the [DInfra Summit](https://x.com/olshansky/status/1766176276166099333?s=20) event.
