[PREPROPOSAL] PoktFund 2022 LeanPOKT and Security Vulnerability Reimbursement

Sorry but I don’t see any contradictions. In fact I believe what I wrote in the other threads is relevant, so I encourage everyone to check them out if they don’t understand my perspective.

I stand by both statements and I’ve been very consistent, possibly to a fault, despite folks having passionately disagreed with me. I believe that value for proposals should be based on measurable metrics. I’ve been very consistent with that and even took pushback from my team’s very small proposal and create the Proposal Value Model (sorry for referencing it again, but hey, I’m constant  ).

I feel it’s a service to the community to make value tied to measurable metrics, because then if there is any questions or disagreements you can point to something and say “I don’t understand this” or “I don’t agree with this” without having to disagree with the entire proposal.

I don’t disagree with is proposal, but I do think it’s worth fleshing out how the value is being measured. While I appreciate you are quick to want get deserving contributors paid, I disagree with the approach of abstract evaluations that don’t scale.

I agree with the sentiment of “Pay the builders!!!”, though I’m still interested in keeping true to scalable standards, even if it means saying the same things, hopefully with maturing elegance, over and over again
